The Montessori Method
Montessori education begins with a simple idea: children are capable.
Our classrooms are carefully prepared to encourage independence, concentration, curiosity, movement, and a genuine love of learning. Rather than every child completing the same activity at the same time, children are given opportunities to make purposeful choices within an environment designed specifically for their stage of development.
Teachers serve as guides, observing each child, introducing lessons when they are developmentally ready, and helping them build the skills to become increasingly independent.

The result is a classroom that is active and engaging while still feeling calm and purposeful. Children aren't simply being kept busy—they are learning how to choose work, solve problems, care for their community, persist through challenges, and take pride in what they are able to do for themselves.
Montessori Looks Different at Every Age
Toddlers | 15 months-3 years
Independence, language, movement, practical life, toileting/self-care, sensory exploration.
Primary | 3-6 years
Practical life, sensorial, language, mathematics, culture, independence and increasingly complex work.
Kindergarten | 5-6 years
Leadership within the mixed-age classroom, advanced Montessori lessons and that additional afternoon work cycle.
