COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS + SUPPORT
Giving
Giving at MLC is not about obligation — it is about participation. Every gift strengthens the community we share.
For nearly 45 years, Montessori Learning Community has nurtured children’s independence, curiosity, and connection to community. Our classrooms are intentionally prepared. Our teachers are deeply trained guides. Our families form a vibrant and supportive network rooted in the mountains we call home.
Tuition sustains our daily operations — but it does not fully fund the level of excellence, enrichment, and long-term vision that define MLC.
Philanthropy bridges that gap.
Montessori Learning Community of Asheville
When you give to MLC, you invest in:
Beautiful, purposefully prepared Montessori environments
Enrichment programs in music, language, art, and outdoor education
Professional growth and training for our teachers
Campus improvements that enhance safety and accessibility
The long-term sustainability of our school for generations of Asheville families
Our Current Priority:
The Relocation Campaign
We are stepping into an exciting new chapter as we relocate our West campus or expand into a space designed to support our growing community.
This campaign will allow us to:
Create inspiring environments for science, the arts, and hands-on discovery
Enhance outdoor spaces for exploration and play
Improve accessibility and safety
Ensure the long-term sustainability of MLC
This is an investment not simply in buildings — but in children.
Make a Gift
We invite every family, alum, friend, and community partner to participate at a level that is meaningful to them. Leadership gifts accelerate progress. Broad participation reflects the strength of our community.
Every contribution matters.
Giving Levels
Each level reflects both the spirit of Montessori education and the place we call home in Asheville.
All donors receive: A personalized thank-you, a tax-deductible receipt, and recognition (unless anonymity is requested).
Leadership-level gifts may include additional recognition opportunities, including naming opportunities where appropriate.
